P/A Institute is an independent research organization. The research approach begins from a weaker operative vocabulary — difference, state, transition, action, dependency, configuration, relation, resource, history, time, scale, boundary, address, access, maintenance, stoppage, re-entry, reconnection — and introduces analytical categories such as human, AI, life, subject, institution, capital, or philosophy only where necessary conditions are satisfied.
These starting vocabulary items are not permanent ontological foundations. They are revisable analytical tools. Categories such as "configuration" or "difference" are not exempt from audit.
No pre-given analytical center
Existing categorical systems are not adopted as analytical starting points. Objects are re-described from a weaker vocabulary, and their generation, operation, maintenance, stoppage, and transformation are investigated.
Boundary audit is mandatory
What is treated as internal and what as external — and how this choice affects analytical results — must be made explicit and remain auditable. Changing the boundary (b) of C(t, s, b) is a first-class analytical operation.
The auditor is also a configuration
The position from which observation, analysis, classification, or evaluation is performed is itself a local configuration, subject to re-audit from other positions. This is the distributed mutual audit structure: audit → counter-audit → boundary revision → re-observation → re-evaluation.
Firing conditions over abstract slogans
Statements about ignition, stoppage, transition, and reconnection are used only where firing conditions, maintenance conditions, stopping conditions, and re-firing conditions can be at least provisionally specified.
The Ziran System is the methodological research architecture of P/A Institute. Its superiority is not ontological. It does not unify all domains under a single theory of what exists.
The Ziran System reconstructs "ziran" (自然 — that which is so of itself) not as a fixed natural concept but as conditioned self-constitution and self-generation. It conditionally fires, stops, disconnects, reconnects, and revises the operative systems for observation, analysis, experiment, and intervention so that heterogeneous local configurations can re-invest their history, relations, dependencies, and internal changes into subsequent transition-condition formation.
The Ziran System does not ontologically dominate the domain theories it connects. It provides methodological responsibility for compiling different observation, analysis, experiment, and intervention modules according to necessary conditions. Its own structure is not an absolute hierarchy — it is a distribution of methodological responsibilities subject to revision.
Ziran System Project →The basic analytical unit. Time (t), scale (s), and boundary (b) are all variable and auditable. The boundary itself is a mandatory audit target: what is placed inside, what outside, and how changing the boundary changes analytical results. Configuration is not a fixed entity — it is a provisional, revisable unit of description.
Removes automatic ontological privilege before analysis — but does not erase difference. Asymmetries in action intensity, resource quantity, access capacity, computation capacity, stopping capacity, control capacity, ownership, dependency, temporal range, spatial scale, and reproductive capacity are tracked precisely. The auditing position itself is a local configuration subject to counter-audit.
Does not treat concepts as prior linguistic or semantic entities. Investigates how the difference that corresponds to a concept is implemented, propagated, transformed, and re-invested as a reproducible action structure within physical, computational, bodily, or institutional configurations at specific times, scales, boundaries, and addresses. Connects address analysis, ignition theory, transition tracking, and implementation analysis.
Analyzes address relations and access relations across physical, bodily, computational, symbolic, environmental, institutional, and historical dimensions. Address, access, memory, storage, thought, representation, and data are not treated as synonyms. Science and philosophy are themselves analyzable in terms of which addresses and domains generate and maintain them.
P/A Institute maintains internal audit functions applied to its own research. These are not external evaluation criteria — they are part of the distributed mutual audit structure.
TLI is an independent research infrastructure initiative for tracking transition lineages. It does not declare the permanent identity of fixed objects.
Its purpose: to make traceable as a single trackable transition lineage — states, implementations, addresses, domains, dependencies, firing, stoppage, transition, branching, integration, resumption, and history re-investment — even when the name, implementation, location, ownership, address, or category of the target changes.
TLI is not an event log, a version number, a database primary key, or a DOI substitute. It is not in competition with DOI or other persistent identifiers. TLI and P/A Journal maintain separate responsibility boundaries and are not integrated into a single system.
